Get your applications in quickly because this dashing young man will not be looking for a home for long. He is absolutely gorgeous and totally irresistible. In fact Bobby is almost perfect.
He is great with other dogs when out on walks as well as being great on-lead. Bobby has a good recall but always has a treat when he returns. He ignores cats and is good with other dogs in the home, although he does like to be the Alpha male.
Bobby is really good with children. However, he has only been tested with those of 8 and above. He loves to meet and greet new people and willingly goes up to say hello. Bobby travels well and quietly and can be left at home for short periods. He is crate-trained and will quite happily sleep crated at night.
He loves his food and will sit and ask for his treats. He hasn't played with toys very much but that may be because he has had 4 other dogs with which to play. He is happy to be groomed and tolerates being bathed with good grace. His coat is clipped to keep him tidy.
Bobby is a happy and loving boy who loves his cuddles. He would settle in most environments although he can sometimes be a little dominant. However this is very easily kept in check and his grumbling is best ignored, as Bobby is only expressing his opinion (much as people mumble under their breath). He would probably suit a family home where there is a female, resident dog rather than a dominant male.
His foster mum says "He is just such an all-rounder. It has been a pleasure to have Bobby in my home and I will miss him so much when the lucky adopters are found". That says it all really.
He couldn't wait to get in the sea.
