Emma is as pretty as they come!
Wee Emma is a real peach of a terrier ... unless you're a cat! So we'll be looking for a cat and small-furry free home for this girl. She's happy to live with dog-savvy children over 8yrs old, as Emma is still very puppyish and isn't in full control of her teeth when playing. But this will come with kind and consistent training.
This lassie knows how to have fun. Toys, balls, smelly socks! So an active home is sought with terrier experience and the desire to continue her training and socialisation. Emma can be a bit nervous of dogs on walks, especially big ones, but will try to hide behind her handler. Training classes will give her the confidence that she needs.
Her lead-walking is good, once the initial excitement has gone. She is easy to feed and eating well, is fine in the car and has been very good when left in her foster home. Emma is crate trained but has not been destructive while in our care (except the smelly socks!), loves her walks and enjoys curling-up in a lap at the end of a busy day. Strangers, especially men, are a worry to her, but given time she comes round quickly. Totally housetrained and sociable with the other dogs in her foster home.
Emma is certainly no couch potato but is a terrier with an off switch and knows how to relax.
Emma is, of course, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Can you give this bonnie wee lass the confidence she lacks?
If you are interested in adopting Emma please message Admin with your name and contact number (landline if possible) and one of our staff team will call you to take further details.
