Please meet the lovely Pepe...
Please form an orderly queue for this delightful bundle of fun and mischief. But be prepared, as Pepe needs an experienced, active home and plenty of stimulation. He would definitely benefit from puppy training classes and lots of socialization and would best suit a busy family home or one where he is the only dog and the focus of attention. However, he will need to be homed where he will have someone at home with him most of the time, or where he will go with his new owners and not be left alone very often or for very long.
Pepe is still a baby and so needs on-going training. He is good with other dogs, both in the home and when out and about. However, he is very playful and quite boisterous so may well overwhelm smaller or less confident dogs. He does have a very strong chase instinct so cannot be homed with cats or other small furries. Pepe is brilliant with children of all ages, but due to his exuberant puppy nature, would probably be best homed with those aged 8+. He loves everybody and wants to greet everyone he meets. He is a very affectionate boy.
He travels well and quietly and can be left at home for short periods, when he settles well in his crate. Pepe is easy to feed and takes treats very gently. He is not food aggressive and at present is teething so needs lots of rawhide chews. His lead-walking needs some more work as Pepe tends to pull, and his recall is untested off-lead. He needs very little grooming.
Pepe is a lovely and loving pup and is going to make someone a marvelously loyal friend and companion. However, there is a lot of hard work needed whilst he is growing into the adult dog that he should be. As well as on-going training, lots of TLC and patience Pepe needs total commitment from his new family.
Could you give Pepe all that he needs to grow into a well-rounded and happy dog?
Pepe is not quite old enough to be neutered yet, but he has been vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed and flea-treated and has no known on-going medical needs.
His fosterer will be along shortly to answer any questions you may have but, meanwhile, here are a few more pics of this gorgeous bundle of fun:-
