We adopted Gizmo, our now 3 year old Shih Tzu from Jo Talbot in April last year. He is a total delight to our family.
We already had Belle (Cavi - 9), and Mopsy (yorkie - 2) but Gizmo is the icing on the cake.
He is Mopsy's best buddy and they spend hours playing and chasing each other.
Gizmo is very stupid. My son thinks that if he was human he'd be the dumbest boy in the class who never understands anything and ask constant questions. He is totally lovable and so cuddly.
He was brought into the rescue as his previous owners had to leave him alone more and more and I think he became troublesome. He doesn't like being left at all. If he can't work out where we are (ie in the bathroom), he will cry and cry. Neighbours now know it is him but at first wondered what the sound was.
He hasn't got any spacial awareness skills and gets into things but can't get out then will cry. The amount of times he's jumped off the settee and landed on Mopsy is uncountable If wants to go somewhere he'll get there. If he wants to jump on your lap despite the fact you've got 3 other dogs on it he'll still jump on and squash everyone.
.
(Pic - Gimzo is most comfortable all spread eagled out on his back on anything comfy)
He is just so lovely. Really don't know what life was like without him. Everyone loves him. So glad that through him I got to know Jo and ultimately the Little Dog Rescue.
Gizmo trying to work out how to get onto the windowsill. Slight gap but others able to work it out. Looking at me to say 'help me'.
Me and Gizmo (taken because he climbed right up to my face - as usual) cheek to cheek
