Mimi is reserved pending homecheck.
There were many applications for her and we are aware some of those will be disappointed not to have been shortlisted, but the choice has been made in discussion with the fosterer taking Mimi's needs and best interests into consideration.
Should applicants wish to be considered for future dogs we would encourage them to reapply. XX

So excited here, really looking forward to meeting Mimi and Jayne tomorrow and taking Mimi home I am just so pleased I didn't pick her up before Christmas as was so manic at my sons with 12 Christmas day and 16 Boxing Day. Also we had a 5 hour power cut on the evening of the 23rd, so I am pleased to say all is back to normal here, lovely peace and quiet for Mimi to settle in and relax Roll on tomorrow !

I am pleased to report that Mimi is settling in really well and although I did take her for a short walk earlier she couldn't wait to get back out in the garden, just in case there were any other new smells that needed investigating. I will add that she wasn't as keen to get out there at 8.00am this morning when we had a heavy frost. She is eating and sleeping very well and has already had a couple of visitors as my eldest granddaughter and her boyfriend popped in to see her.
Thank you Jayne for all your hard work

Aww I am so pleased to hear she is settling well.
made me laugh about the frost, she does hate her feet being cold, lol.
My house feels really quiet without my little shadow, but I am so happy she now has her very own mummy :-)

Lovely news Jayne and Geraldine. Really made my day to read this; so pleased Mimi is settling in well. Thank you for adopting a TLDR dog Geraldine, and congratulations, may you both have many years of enjoyment together. I'll move this across to the Adopted section now, where we'd love you to continue with updates when you're able XX
